This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a master hairstylist and extension expert with over 25 years of experience specializing in hair replacements, color transformations, and luxury extensions.
Position: Salon Assistant
Location: Private Studio, Temecula, CA
Hours: Part-time (Flexible)
Responsibilities:
— Assist with shampooing, conditioning treatments, and blow-drying clients
— Help prep and organize hair extensions for application
— Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including tools and equipment
— Assist with mixing and applying color under supervision
— Greet and check in clients, ensuring a welcoming experience
— Keep inventory of hair products and extension supplies
— Assist with social media content creation (photos/videos of work)
— Light administrative tasks such as booking appointments and responding to inquiries
— Provide excellent customer service and uphold a luxury client experience
Qualifications:
♡ Passionate about the hair industry and eager to learn
♡ Enrolled in or graduated from a cosmetology program (preferred)
♡ Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player
♡ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
♡ Strong communication and customer service skills
♡ Willingness to assist in all aspects of salon operations
