Job Description
The essential functions include, but are not limited to: Assist and observe all aspects of salon daily
activity, helping to create a seamless environment for our clients through anticipating their needs. Treat
each client as if they are your own; one day they might be.
Assist in all aspects of Salon operations through duties delegated to you by the Salon Director and
Assistant Salon Director.
Honor your schedule, arriving at work fifteen minutes prior to your appointed start time, ready and
able to start work.
Present a fashionable image in dress, hairstyle and make up.
Attend all training classes as outlined by the Education/Technical Director in order to progress
through the training program in a timely manner.
Attend Salon Team meetings and Apprentice meeting monthly.
Assist with all aspects of salon cleanliness paying close attention to opening and closing duties given
to you by your leadership team. Monitoring styling stations for cleanliness throughout the day.
Monitor the reception area: deliver tickets, serve beverages to clients, tidy magazines, dust
displays.
Assist Stylists/Technicians with shampoos and conditioning treatments.
Assist with chemical services by being available to mix formulas, monitor processing and timing,
apply neutralizer, etc…
Observe stylist/technicians consultation and services whenever not busy with other duties.
Greet all clients with a smile and handshake, offering beverages and magazines.
Assist with checking in product orders, re-stocking retail shelves, fronting products.
Assist in implementation of all new procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of break room at all times
